Summary
- Use the website lawfully and do not interfere with it.
- Teaching resources and CP3 Maths applications have their own licence terms.
- Educational information supports, but does not replace, professional judgement.
- Nothing in these terms removes legal rights that cannot be excluded.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to use of cp3maths.com and its public pages, information, links and apps (the “Website”). The Website is operated by C Parkinson trading as CP3 Maths.
By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using it. CP3 Maths applications are additionally governed by their EULA. Teaching resources are governed by the licence shown with the relevant resource.
2. Permitted use
You may browse the Website and use its publicly available information for lawful personal, educational, classroom, tutoring and internal organisational purposes. Specific software and downloadable materials may carry additional or different terms.
3. Prohibited use
You must not:
- use the Website unlawfully or to harm another person;
- attempt to bypass security, gain unauthorised access or introduce malicious code;
- interfere with the Website’s availability or place an unreasonable load on it;
- scrape or automatically extract content in a way that infringes rights or disrupts the service;
- copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, adapt or create derivative software from the Website’s original code, interface assets or protected materials, except where the applicable EULA, an attached resource licence or the law expressly permits it;
- misrepresent your relationship with CP3 Maths; or
- remove or obscure ownership, copyright or licence notices.
If you submit optional feedback, you must be entitled to share its contents and must not include unnecessary personal, confidential or safeguarding-sensitive information. CP3 Maths may use submitted ideas, suggestions and bug reports to improve its products without payment or an obligation to implement them.
4. Intellectual property and licences
Unless stated otherwise, the Website and CP3 Maths original materials are owned by C Parkinson trading as CP3 Maths. These protected materials include, but are not limited to, source and object code, software and its implementation, user interfaces, designs, graphics, icons, branding, visual assets, manipulative artwork, application-specific artwork, animations, original written material, legal documentation and other original materials supplied through CP3 Maths websites and applications. Components expressly identified as third-party materials remain subject to their respective licences.
CP3 Maths does not claim ownership of generic mathematical ideas or representations, including algebra tiles, counters, zero pairs, bar modelling, prime numbers or mathematical representations generally. Its rights concern its own original software, implementation, interface, graphics, artwork, assets, branding and content.
You retain any rights you genuinely hold in original material that you create independently. Incorporating CP3 Maths material into your work does not transfer ownership of the underlying CP3 Maths material to you.
Non-commercial educational reuse of CP3 Maths material in content you create or publish is permitted if you clearly attribute CP3 Maths and provide a link to the relevant CP3 Maths website or application. Commercial reuse requires prior permission from CP3 Maths and still requires clear attribution and the relevant link unless CP3 Maths expressly agrees otherwise. Attribution does not transfer ownership, grant additional rights or imply endorsement by CP3 Maths.
Nothing in these terms changes a Creative Commons, TES or other licence expressly attached to a resource. See the Resources Licence page.
5. Educational information
The Website and its tools provide educational support. They do not replace professional teaching, curriculum, assessment, accessibility, safeguarding or supervision decisions. No particular learning or examination outcome is guaranteed.
6. Availability and changes
CP3 Maths may update, suspend or withdraw Website content or features. Access may be interrupted by maintenance, security, hosting, browser, device or network issues. Reasonable efforts are made to keep public information accurate, but it may become incomplete or out of date.
7. External websites
The Website may link to TES and other third-party services. Those services are controlled by their operators and have their own terms and privacy information. A link does not by itself mean that CP3 Maths controls or endorses everything on the external service.
8. Privacy and accessibility
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and Children’s Privacy Notice. Information about local storage, cookies and similar technologies is provided in the Cookie Policy. Accessibility information and known limitations are described in the Accessibility Statement.
9. Liability and legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to those protections and to the extent permitted by law, CP3 Maths is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, were not caused by a breach of these terms or arise from unsupported devices, external websites, network failure or decisions made using educational information on the Website.
If you use the Website wholly or mainly for business purposes, CP3 Maths is not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings or indirect or consequential loss, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Suspension
Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to protect the Website, users, legal rights or service availability or where these terms are materially or repeatedly breached.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the Website, its services or applicable requirements change. The version and effective date above identify the current terms. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention where reasonably practicable.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory rights that apply where you live. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction unless applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
13. Contact
